A cat and mouse game

It was like schrödingers cat
You knew it was there, but at the same time it wasn’t
Sometimes the blue eyes changed to black
And the time crawled slowly.

The slowness was in everything
Your head, your heart, your life
And loneliness had overcome
To both felt as a knife.

The now invisable borders
Are fed by schrödingers cat
When everyone was enemy
And days were spent in bed

On some days I would ask myself
If you wanted to find out
To get rid of schrödingers, or not and you’d black out.

It’s power now was overwhelming
It’s meowing squeezed into our brains
It was our fight, but was your battle
It were our hearts, but were your walls

It was like schrödingers cat
You knew it was there, but at the same time it wasn’t
Sometimes the blue eyes changed to black
And the time crawled slowly
